2. Partner Qualification and Quality Standards
Attorneys and partner organizations participating in the Accidental Justice network are expected to satisfy standards appropriate to their roles:
- Attorney licensing: Attorneys should maintain the licenses required in the jurisdictions where they accept matters.
- Relevant experience: Participating attorneys should have experience with the types of inquiries they accept.
- Fee transparency: Attorneys should explain their fees and any applicable case costs before representation begins.
- Advertising compliance: Partners should comply with applicable advertising and consumer protection requirements.
- Responsive communications: Partners should handle prospective claimant inquiries respectfully and professionally.
- Consumer preferences: Partners should honor applicable consent, opt-out, and Do Not Call requirements.
3. Independent Attorney Relationship
Attorneys and law firms in our network operate independently. Accidental Justice does not employ attorneys, direct legal strategy, or supervise legal representation.
Submitting an inquiry through Accidental Justice does not obligate an attorney to represent you or establish an attorney-client relationship. If an attorney agrees to represent you, the terms of representation will be set out directly between you and the attorney.
4. Contact Consent & Partner Communication
If you submit your contact information and provide the applicable consent on our request form, Accidental Justice and the entities identified in that consent may contact you about your inquiry using the channels and methods described there. Review the consent language on the form for the specific contact terms that apply to your submission.
If you wish to stop receiving communications:
- Reply “STOP” to a text message to request an opt-out from that sender's texts.
- Use the “Unsubscribe” link in a marketing email, if provided.
- Email dnc@accidentaljustice.com with your phone number and Do Not Call request. You may also contact a partner directly about communications from that partner.
5. Categories of Partners & Affiliated Law Network
